Sophie Wessex breaks style protocol to accept award from Hillary Clinton – ‘Trailblazer!’

From wearing nude tights to modest outfit choices, there is a long list of royal style protocols which includes the type of fabrics they are allowed to wear.

The female members of the family are expected to avoid wearing leather completely as it’s not deemed to be “ladylike” and isn’t a traditional fabric associated with the royal wardrobe.

However, in recent years, many royals have sported the daring trend in their everyday outfits.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex has broken this style rule in the past, even stepping out in New York in a head-to-toe leather look back in March earlier this year.
