Sophie Wessex shows off ‘fitted bodice’ wearing £250 blue corduroy dress in The Hague

For footwear, Sophie wore some black suede stiletto boots, similar to the Russell and Bromley ones that the Queen Consort wears.

Today, Sophie was received by the President of the Court, Judge Piotr Hofmański.

Judge Piotr Hofmański thanked the Countess for her visit to the Court and stated: “The support of the international community is of crucial importance for the ability of the International Criminal Court to carry out its vital mandate of justice and accountability.”

Issues discussed with the Countess of Wessex included the work of the Court and of the Trust Fund for Victims, particularly in relation to sexual and gender-based violence, the restorative aspect of ICC’s work in the form of reparations to victims, outreach, awareness raising, as well as the protection of victims and witnesses, amongst others.
