Steven Tyler ‘heartbroken’ postponing Aerosmith tour after ‘bloody vocal damage’ | Music | Entertainment

After 53 years together, Aerosmith embarked on their Peace Out: The Farewell Tour 10 days ago.

However, just three concerts into their North American dates the band have been forced to postpone their next six shows to 2024.

Steven Tyler shared with fans on social media: “I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days.

“I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”

Aerosmith were set to perform in Toronto, Canada this evening before heading to Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Raleigh and Washington DC.

Assuming Tyler’s vocal cords have healed by then, the band’s next show will be in Tampa, Florida on October 11, 2023.

Their North America final tour will then continue throughout the rest of 2023 and into the new year. Here are the rescheduled dates and ticket information below.
