Tarantino Live review – Talented cast lead ambitious musical for diehard fans | Theatre | Entertainment

After opening in Los Angeles with the director himself seeing the show, Tarantino Live has made its way to the other side of the pond.

The immersive rock performance mashes together the worlds of Quentin Tarantino’s nine movies and counting.

An incredibly talented cast with some sensational voices recreates fan-favourite scenes with music from the films’ soundtrackx that will be very familiar to diehard lovers of QT’s material.

Fans can experience the likes of Stuck in the Middle With You and Bang, Bang, My Baby Shot Me Down.

The mashing up of Tarantino’s movies is at times somewhat discombobulating but the cast and live band are full of enthusiastic energy in their performances from start to finish.

As much as those unfamiliar with the likes of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill may get something out of it, this really is very much one of the director’s most devoted fans.

Tarantino Live plays at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, London until July 30 and tickets can be purchased here.
