Taylor Swift makes Grammys history but slammed for ‘crime’ against Celine Dion | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Taylor Swift made history at tonight’s Grammy Awards when she won album of the year for a record fourth time.

But viewers were left furious with the Anti-Hero singer for appearing to ‘snub’ legendary singer Celine Dion at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Celine, who suffers from neurological disorder stiff person syndrome, got a very warm reception when she made her way onto the stage to present the final award of the evening.

Having already won best pop vocal album, where she announced she was releasing a brand new album, Taylor was thrilled to discover she’d also recieved the evening’s biggest award.

Stunned Taylor dragged friend Lana Del Ray and producer Jack Antonoff up with her, but failed to even look at Dion as she grabbed her trophy.

Taylor said she was “unbelievably blown away” by the honor and that making music is what she loves more than anything.

But viewers couldn’t get over the fact that she had not even acknowleged Celine when she handed over the award.

One fan wrote: “Okay but Taylor Swift waiting and ignoring Celine Dion is a crime? NOT HUGGING HER AND JUST TAKING THE TROPHY? WHAT?!”

“Taylor Swift completely ignored CELINE DION … ripping the award out of her hands,” added another.

A third agreed: “The way Taylor Swift just took the Grammy out of Celine Dion’s hand and didn’t even hug her or thank her … how rude.”

“Taylor Swift u dnt just grab the trophy from a legend like that and not even say thank you or give her a hug! That’s f***ing Celine Dion,” put a fourth.

Swifties were left in disbelief and took to Twitter after discovering that she is releasing some new music in just a few weeks’ time.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Screaming crying throwing up”

“OMFG AND IT’S GONNA BREAK EVERY RECORD,” added another.

A third put: “I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for an album. This one is for the poets.”
