The Osbournes confess their choices to play Ozzy and Sharon in upcoming biopic | Films | Entertainment

Rock star biopics are all the rage in recent years from Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman to Elvis.

Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne’s own movie about his chaotic rise to fame and marriage to Sharon Osbourne was announced back in 2021 and is still in the works.

And on a recent Osbournes podcast episode with their children Jack and Kelly, the family’s dream casting choices were shared amongst themselves.

Their daughter said: “I know who I want to play mum — Florence Pugh. I think Florence Pugh would do a fantastic [job].”

Sharon agreed adding: “I think Florence Pugh or the little girl from Game of Thrones [Maisie Williams].”

Jack said: “You know who I want to play dad? Bill Hader. Everyone thinks I’m f***ing crazy until I show a side-by-side picture, and then that guy’s ability to morph.”

Shown a picture of the comedian, Ozzy simply replied: “F*** off!” But Sharon disagreed saying: “I think he could nail it.”

The Black Sabbath singer added: “By the time they finish this film, I’ll be dead… I wanna be alive to f***ing see it.”
