After 118 days, the longest Hollywood actors strike in history has come to an end and filming can resume on some big 2024 movies.
These include Gladiator 2, Beetlejuice 2 and what may be Clint Eastwood’s final movie Juror No 2.
This is also the case for Tom Hardy’s Venom 3 for which Sony Pictures has now announced a release date delay from July 12, 2024 to November 8, 2024.
The Sony Marvel film co-stars Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor in undisclosed roles.
Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool 3 is set to get cameras rolling again very soon, with half the Marvel blockbuster left to shoot.
According to Deadline, the MCU X-Men movie will miss its May 2024 release, which seems to have been confirmed by a new tweet from Reynolds.
On the end of the Hollywood actors strike, Reynolds tweeted a picture of Deadpool’s variant Dogpool, who is set to make her debut in Deadpool 3.
The actor captioned the post: “Did Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell. But she IS currently causing the Disney plushy merch department nightmares. Coming with the movie, Summer 2024.”
