A TikTok user has taken part in a body positivity trend in which women are embracing their bodies and refusing to be shamed for the size of their chests. She has hit out at large-breasted women being told they are “showing off”.
TikToker Claire LaJeunesse who posts on the account @claire.lajeunesse filmed herself mouthing along to the audio: “Am I showing off my boobs or do I just have boobs?”
She wore a simple green tank top and a pair of trousers in the video, in which she put her hands on her hips and shook her head in exasperation.
She wrote in the caption: “This isn’t a trick question. I just have boobs and exist.”
TikTok users empathised with Claire and shared their own experiences. Rebecca Ravenna wrote: “It’s the second one but people really confuse the two.”
User Stephanie wrote: “Literally had this struggle today.” Ali wrote: “Like when tabloids say women are flaunting their bodies but they’re just out there existing in the world.”
Some praised Claire’s fabulous figure. Bree wrote: “Either way they look amazing.” Rebecca Marlis said: “If I had them, I’d definitely be showing them off.”
Having a large chest can cause difficulties when it comes to thinking about what to wear. Another large-chested TikToker claimed she has found the “perfect bra” for her 38J breasts.
Amanda is a fashion expert and on social media, she helps curvy and midsize women find their confidence as well as find clothing that is both stylish and comfortable. She said: “If you are a bustier girl who is yet to find a strapless bra that you like, look no further.”
For those confused about their bra size, an expert took to the social media platform to explain how to measure your bra size at home.
Jen Warnes is a fashion blogger who specialises in helping women find bras that are comfy and practical as well as stylish. She explained how to measure your chest with just a measuring tape at home.
“Most people are wearing the wrong size, so let’s see if you are one of them,” she said. The key is to measure your chest just under your breasts and then the widest part of your chest and count the difference in inches between the two.
