ABBA reunion performance odds-on for 2024 to mark special Eurovision milestone | Music | Entertainment

ABBA may have broken up over 40 years ago, but in recent years they’ve made something of a comeback.

Aside from the Mamma Mia musical and movies, the band released Voyage, their first new album in four decades, which hit No 1 around the world.

This coincided with the band’s digital concert residency ABBA Voyage, complete with their own performing ABBAtars in London.

On opening night last year, Benny, Björn, Agnetha and Frida appeared on stage to give a curtain call.

Despite ruling out further reunions, ABBA are now odds-on to perform together at the 2024 Eurovision Song Concert.

Next year’s Eurovision hosts are ABBA’s native Sweden and it just so happens they’re running the show on the 50th anniversary of the band’s Waterloo victory.

The 1974 single was chosen as the best song in the competition’s history on the 50th anniversary of Eurovision in 2005.

Now with ABBA’s half-century milestone coming up in their homeland, OLBG has the band as odds-on to give a performance at the Eurovision 2024 Grand Finale.

In fact, ABBA have a 90 per cent probability of performing on stage at the Grand Finale.

The odds are currently at 1/10 for this monumental reunion to happen, although perhaps it will be performed by their ABBAtars?

Whatever the case, here’s hoping Benny, Björn, Agnetha and Frida have something up their sleeves for fans.
