Duran Duran announce extra UK tour date: How to get tickets | Music | Entertainment

Duran Duran played a string of fantastic UK shows across the summer of 2022, and now they are adequately warmed up, the iconic band are gearing up to play some even bigger venues in their new tour: The Future Fast Tour. Just recently, the British band announced a new UK arena date, continuing their tour which begins in April 2023, and tickets are out this week.

When do Duran Duran tickets go on sale?

UPDATE: Tickets for Duran Duran’s new date go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 11am.Ā 

This event is taking place at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on May 9, 2023, and rounds off the iconic band’s seven-date tour.Ā

General onsale tickets for Duran Duran’s other shows are out now. You can buy them onĀ Ticketmaster,Ā Live Nation,Ā See TicketsĀ and other ticketing retailers.

These tickets include the newly-announced second night at London’s The O2 Arena. Previously, the band were only playing May 1, 2023. The following night, May 2, 2023, Duran Duran will be returning for another rock-filled evening.Ā

The release of these general tickets followed theĀ Ticketmaster presale event, which went on for 24 hours prior. Fans were able to grab these tickets by entering a code provided byĀ TicketmasterĀ ahead of the regular release. Duran Duran will be hitting five major cities in the UK to play on the biggest stages in the country.

On top of playing in London’s O2 Arena, Duran Duran will also be hitting Manchester’s AO Arena and Leeds’ First Direct Arena.

This announcement comes just days before the release of the new version of their latest album: Future Past (Complete Edition) which hits store shelves on Friday, November 25, 2022.

Duran Duran’s singer, Simon Le Bon, said: “2022 has been an extraordinary year for Duran Duran – mainly down to the incredible fans we have around the world. In July we celebrated our years together at Hyde Park as part of the British Summer Time Festival.”

Le Bon added: “Next Spring we will be back on home soil once again to continue the party. Itā€™s remarkable to me that as a band, we are still hitting new milestones, still able to introduce the sound of DD to new generations of music lovers.”

In a personal touch, he added: “We are truly grateful that we get to do what we do on a daily basis, and that we still love our job as much as we did when we started out some four decades ago.”

This tour announcement comes just after the band announced their “Docu-Concert Film” A Hollywood high would air globally on the streaming platform, Veeps, from December 18 to January 2.
