Epic integrates hyperrealistic MetaHumans into Unreal Editor for Fortnite, along with new camera options and physics sandbox gameplay. They aim to transform Fortnite into a gaming platform with user-created content.

In the latest update from Epic Games, exciting new features are on the horizon for MetaHumans in UEFN. Alongside the highly anticipated first-person perspective camera options, players can look forward to physics sandbox gameplay that allows for the use of physically-simulated characters in both UEFN and Creative modes.

Epic’s vision for Fortnite as a gaming platform continues to evolve, with user-generated content playing a significant role. Since 2023, over 80,000 player-created islands have been shared within UEFN, alongside first-party releases like Lego Fortnite and Fortnite Festival. This shift towards a more expansive and diverse gaming experience demonstrates Epic’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation within the Fortnite community.
