How to look younger: Jamie Lee Curtis ‘obsessed’ anti-ageing serum

Jamie Lee Curtis recently melted hearts after winning her first-ever Oscar, as many celebrities loudly cheered her on during the actress’s tearful acceptance speech.

However, the real winner of the evening may be the Hollywood star’s simple beauty routine, and the actress’ make-up artist has given fans a glimpse of how Jamie keeps her glowing skin despite being 64-years-old.

Make-up artist Grace Ahn was responsible for Jamie Lee Curtis’ glamorous Oscar look and has revealed some of the products Jamie Lee Curtis uses as part of her skincare routine while getting ready for an evening in Hollywood.

Grace revealed she was “obsessed” with FaceGym’s skincare collection as it “really works” for glowing skin.

She explained: “The skin is always the starting point with any makeup look, so making sure it’s prepped and primed to perfection is key!”

On the Face Gym Instagram, Grace explained how she prepared Jamie Lee Curtis’ skin.

She said: “For the skincare, I cleansed and prepped with Skin Changer essence-toner before applying the vegan collagen Active Blast and Hydro-Bound. I’ve told everyone about Active Blast since I first discovered it – this product really works.”

The make-up artist said the product changes skin instantly and leaves it looking with a “smooth, dewy finish with a gorgeous flow too.”

She then added a “light lawyer of the Liftwear Vitamin C moisturizer which is “genius” as delivers a “firming and lifting effect instantly.”

To finish the ‘Halloween’ star’s skincare routine, Grace used a Multi-Sculter to “depuff and drain any remaining facial tension” which would “enhance definition” and give Jamie Lee Curtis the perfect skin before she heads out to the red carpet.

On the Sephora and the FaceGym websites, many users have highly recommended the skincare products, and described them as a “holy grail” find for achieving a younger look.

One person described the collagen booster as giving their skin “a youthful glow again” while another person said it gave them “much brighter skin in only seven days.”

However, Jamie Lee Curtis has also dished out her own beauty advice and has begged women not to be tempted to turn to Botox as they get older.

In an interview with Today, Jamie said: “Don’t mess with your face.”

The ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ star admitted she has done plastic surgery, and said: “I put Botox in my head. Does Botox make the big wrinkle go away? Yes. But then you look like a plastic figurine.”

She urged other women to take from her experience and not make the same mistake she did.

Jamie said: “Walk a mile in my shoes. I have done it. It did not work. And all I see is people now focusing their life on that.”
