Kate Middleton visited NatWest’s headquarters in the City of London today to host a meeting of her new Business Taskforce for Early Childhood. The Princess of Wales wore an ivory jacket designed by Alexander McQueen.
The “leaf crepe padded-shoulder woven jacket” as it is known, has a single button fastening at the front.
The chic jacket also features lapels, padded shoulders, long sleeves, buttoned cuffs, and asymmetric panels at sides, giving the jacket an interesting look.
The description says: “The Alexander McQueen fashion house has always had its roots in trail-blazing tailoring, and the label has continued to elevate and invigorate essential, elegant styles under the guidance of creative director Sarah Burton.
“New for the Autumn/Winter 2022 pre-collection, this single-button jacket is cut with a strong but understated padded shoulder, and is woven with a lightweight leaf crepe.

Kate has previously worn the pink version of the jacket back in June 2022 for a similar occasion.
This was a roundtable meeting she hosted with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
Alexander McQueen officially called that colour “ice pink”, as opposed to today’s “light ivory” colour.
Today, the Princess of Wales paired her jacket with a simple white blouse and black trousers.
Kate also wore a chic and elegant pair of very high stiletto heels in a vibrant black colour to contrast her ivory jacket.
The Princess was seen carrying a black folder, presumably to hold her notes for today’s meeting.
Kate wore her Asprey London oak leaf small hoop earrings that cost a whopping £5,000. These are described as “intertwined oak leaves in 18K gold and pave diamonds”, and the Princess first debuted these in 2018.

The royal correspondent for the Daily Express, Richard Palmer, tweeted: “The Princess of Wales has arrived at NatWest’s headquarters in the City of London to host the inaugural meeting of her new Business Taskforce for Early Childhood.
