Kate Middleton wows in £183 merlot dress from Karen Millen in Birmingham today

Kate Middleton, 41, is in Birmingham today wearing a “Petite Long Sleeve Pleated Midi Trench Dress” from Karen Millen. The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in Birmingham via train to perform a number of engagements in the city.

The description of Kate’s dress reads: “Exuding versatility and elegance, the trench dress got a modern update this season.

“It features a matching waist belt that highlights the figure while the pleated skirt adds alluring movement.

“The gold buttons and belt detail gives this piece an extra sophistication spin.”

Although originally costing £229, it is now on sale for just £183.20, making it a steal for royal fans.

Kate paired her burgundy dress with suede burgundy high heels, and they are believed to be the Gianvito Rossi “Gianvito 105” pumps in “Royale Burgundy Suede”.

In October 2015, Kate debuted these Gianvito Rossi suede shoes – these were her first pair of shoes from the Italian shoemaker.

The “Gianvito” type is Mr Rossi’s go-to shoe, and it’s available in a variety of hues, materials, and heel heights.

Kate’s shoes are still on sale for a whopping £650, which is a lot more expensive than her L.K. Bennett dress.

In terms of accessories, Kate could be seen wearing an elegant pair of earrings, which are believed to be the “Dina earrings” in ocean blue from Sezane which cost £100.

The Princess also wore her Daniella Draper Baby Treasure Necklace in gold. The necklace costs a whopping £825.

On arrival, she could be seen carrying her Smythson Panama East/West zip tote bag, which costs £650.

Royal fans thought Kate looked beautiful and took to social media to praise her style.

They met the staff and a group of University College of Birmingham local catering students.

Following that, designers, artists, and playwrights were hosted by William and Kate at The Rectory, a bar in the famed Jewellery Quarter.

The Prince and Princess of Wales learned about the sector’s expansion as well as the opening and operating experiences of their visitors’ businesses in the city.

Kate and William then welcomed guests outside before joining them for an interactive game of darts in the 180 Club downstairs.
