Meghan Markle, 41, and Prince Harry, 38, took a brief trip to Morocco while the Duchess of Sussex was six months pregnant in February 2019. Meghan and Harry attended a reception hosted by the British Ambassador to Morocco at the British Residence in Rabat, during the second day of their tour.
How much did Meghan’s outfit cost?
Meghan donned a custom-made golden dress with voluminous sleeves and additional decoration.
Due to the fact that the garment was personally created, it is estimated to have cost around £90,000.
Despite the dress being so expensive, Meghan is yet to wear the outfit again.
However, as it was certainly a maternity-style dress, the Duchess could have worn it when she was pregnant with Princess Lilibet Diana in 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic.
Back in 2019, she completed her Dior ensemble with her £590 lamé lambskin heels.
Meghan has also never worn these heels again – but they are loved by other members of the Royal Family such as Beatrice Casiraghi, who is also an ambassador of Dior.
The Duchess was additionally holding a £1,389.84 Dior “D-Bee gold satin clutch” in her hands back in 2019.
Despite never being seen carrying this clutch bag again, Meghan’s husband Prince Harry owns a matching Dior bee garment.

The Duke of Sussex returned to the UK in March 2023 for a highly publicised lawsuit against the Associated Newspapers, wearing a “Bee shirt” designed by Dior.
It is thought that this “Bee shirt” perfectly matches Meghan’s “Bee clutch bag” as they both feature the iconic gold Dior bee motif.
In 2019 in Morocco, Meghan donned her old standby, her £6,966 Birks Snowstorm diamond earrings.
She was first seen wearing these jewels in 2018 and even wore them during the Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Another iconic time she wore these jewels was with her green Emilia Wickstead dress during her last engagement as a working royal at Westminster Abbey in 2020.
For Meghan’s 2019 appearance in Morocco, her outfit’s staggering total price came to £98,945.84, just short of £99,000.
The Duchess brushed her hair back into a tight bun and wore a significant amount of highlighter with light pink lipstick for her gorgeous appearance.
Meghan’s eye makeup was quite intense, with the royal choosing to don a smokey eye for the occasion.
