Next Bond – Rising star’s odds slashed by 75 per cent gaining on Henry Cavill | Films | Entertainment

Just who will be the next James Bond?

It’s been almost two years since Daniel Craig left the franchise with a bang in No Time To Die and we’re still awaiting that official announcement of the seventh official 007.

Rumours continue to swirl around the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, but there’s a new rising star joining the favourites at the bookies.

According to Star Sports’ William Kedjanyi: “The next James Bond market seems to take a new turn almost every week, and Harris Dickinson is the most recent candidate to attract plenty of financial attention.”

It turns out the 27-year-old star of The King’s Man and Triangle of Sadness has had his odds of taking up the Licence to Kill next slashed from 20/1 to 11/2.

The BAFTA Rising Star Award nominee still has tough competition in the bookies’ race mind.

Ahead of Harris is Regé-Jean Page on 5/1, Henry Cavill on 9/2 and Aaron Taylor-Johnson on 3/1.

Meanwhile, the current frontrunner for Star Sports is Happy Valley’s James Norton on 5/2.
