Next James Bond odds – Henry Cavill overtaken by new 007 frontrunner | Films | Entertainment

It’s been a year and a half since it turned out that James Bond did have time to die after all. Daniel Craig has bowed out as 007, but just who will replace him in the reboot? The latest bookies’ odds are in and his Casino Royale runner-up Henry Cavill has been pushed into second place.

Next up is Regé-Jean Page on 7-1, although with his new movie Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves out this weekend, we’d expect his odds to slice in the coming days. Other contenders in the mix are Tom Hardy on 8-1, Callum Turner on 10-1 and Jack Lowden, Aidan Turner and Idris Elba all on 12-1.

Further back are Michael Fassbender on 14-1, Luke Evans and Richard Madden on 16-1 and Cillian Murphy on 20-1. Others include Jamie Dornan and Colin Farrell on 33-1 and Paul Mescal on 40-1.
