Next James Bond odds – Three stars with ‘strong chance of being cast in 2024’ | Films | Entertainment

As another year comes to an end we still don’t have an official announcement of who the next James Bond will be.

Nevertheless, the bookies’ race has its favourites and today Coral reported that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has taken more new 007 bets across 2023 than any other actor.

The Kraven the Hunter star is currently the favourite to replace Daniel Craig as Bond with odds of 5-2 following rumours that he had a secret audition for the role.

Coral’s John Hill noted: “Henry Cavill and James Norton are second and third respectively on the list.

“And along with Taylor-Johnson, they look to be the three actors who have a strong chance of landing the role going into 2024.”

Take it all with a pinch of salt but Henry Cavill, who at 40 may be too old to play Bond now, is on 7-2.

Meanwhile, Happy Valley star James Norton is on 4-1 followed by Regé-Jean Page on 5-1 and Tom Hardy on 6-1.

Other contenders include Jack Lowden on 10-1, Paapa Essiedu and Callum Turner on 14-1, Richard Madden and Sope Dirisu on 16-1 and Aidan Turner on 18-1.
