The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the adorable photo on their social media channels with the caption: “Thank you for all the birthday wishes.” The portrait, taken by photographer Millie Pilkington features Princess Charlotte and her cute dog Orla, which also posed with the young royal for her official birthday pictures last year.
In the birthday photo, Princess Charlotte can be seen cuddling the family’s black Cocker Spaniel Orla and wearing a striped jumper and a baby blue shirt underneath.
The royal’s top is the Relaxed Textured Jumper in white and blue from kids’ fashion brand Boden, which used to retail for £34 but is now on sale for £23.80.
The jumper’s “balloon sleeves and texture take this soft jumper from simple to simply-got-to-put-it-on”, plus is a “comfortable relaxed fit,” the designer’s website explained.

Royal fans were delighted with the new royal photo and hundreds took to the comments section to share their thoughts.
On Twitter, RubysWelt, commented: “Princess Charlotte is so cute” and @HRHPWales said: “Another beautiful photo of Princess Charlotte!”
Royal watcher @lovefamilywales added: “Aww another beautiful picture of the birthday girl and adorable Orla.

The portrait, by royal photographer Millie Pilkington, was likely taken in the grounds of Amner Hall, in Norfolk.
The photo is part of the family’s last year photoshoot when Prince Louis’ fifth birthday portrait, released by the Palace last month, was also taken.

It was the Confiture Frances Willow Sun Dress from the popular kids’ brand Trotters Children’s Clothing, which retails for £71.20.
