Princess Kate’s Coronation style shift suggests she’s at risk of taking ‘the spotlight’

Kate, Princess of Wales wore a beautiful collection of clothes across the Coronation weekend, and interestingly they were all in shades of red, white and blue.

Body language expert Darren Stanton spoke about the feelings associated with wearing these regal colours and how the tones of Kate’s clothes were a lot brighter than usual.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, Darren said: “Kate is dressed in her superhero colours red or blue.

“These colours denote confidence and power, which is quite significant as usually with major events such as these Kate chooses softer colours to take more of a backseat role and shy away from the spotlight to let others shine.”

In the days running up to the Coronation, Kate stepped out in a bright red Eponine London coat and white Suzannah London dress.

The next day, she attended a lunch at Buckingham Palace and wore a bespoke white Jenny Packham dress.

That evening, she changed into a Mrs Self Portrait crystal-embellished wrap dress in a cobalt blue.
