Queen and Adam Lambert tour – Brian May excitedly posts new message for fans | Music | Entertainment

After last year’s trek across North America, Queen and Adam Lambert are kicking off their 2024 Rhapsody tour with five dates in Japan from next week.

Taking to Instagram, Sir Brian May spoke a little Japanese and told fans: “Looks like we’re doing this then!… See you soon!”

The band are set to kick off this leg of the tour in Nagoya’s Vantelin Dome on February 4, before heading to Osaka on February 7, Sapporo on February 10 and then concluding with two nights at the Tokyo Dome on February 13 and 14.

In his video, the 76-year-old showed off Queen and Adam Lambert’s new logo on the front of his tour itinerary too.

And yes, there are hopeful signs that more legs of the tour will be announced eventually.

Sir Brian captioned his post: “Well, I think my Japanese is a little rusty – but this is my attempt to say ‘Japanese friends – Hello !!’ – because suddenly the much anticipated Japanese tour is upon us ! Final checks, packing, last fitness and finger-end hardening playing commitments – some people might call that practising !!! And – I hope I am fit and ready !!! We’ll soon be on that big bird in the sky. Yeeeow ! DO YOU LIKE OUR NEW TOURING LOGO ?!! Bri.”

As for fans in the UK and Europe wondering when Queen and Adam Lambert will next return, the guitarist told the BBC last year: “And we get back to…Britain and Europe possibly as well. But there’s no plans right now.”
