Queen Camilla channels Kate with chic cat-eye sunglasses in Northern Ireland

Queen Camilla looked elegant as she arrived at Market Theatre Square earlier today in Armagh, Northern Ireland.

The royal, who has established her own trademark style, stepped out in a pair of tan-tinted sunglasses.

Dressed suitably for the sunny weather, Camilla proudly walked alongside King Charles who had also opted for some chic shades.

Staying true to her signature style, the Queen wore a recycled Fiona Clare dress for the occasion, finished with a delicate silver brooch on her left lapel.

The 75-year-old looked confident and jolly as she greeted bystanders for the celebration of culture.

Like many Britons, the Royal Family are known lovers of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer style.

The classic design has been worn by the likes of Princess Kate, Prince William, Prince Harry and both Camilla and Charles in the past.

However, the Queen seems to have strayed from the trademark style and this time opted for a subtle cat-eye shape instead. The shades feature a dark brown lens with a lighter tortoise-shell frame for an added touch of glamour.

While Camilla has not been spotted in these specific shades before, they are very similar to a pair owned by Kate.

The fashionable royal has been seen wearing an almost identical style in a darker shade of brown in previous years.

Those owned by the Princess of Wales were made by the independent British eyewear brand Finlay, specifically their “Henrietta” design.

Camilla’s shades on the other hand use a lighter colourway to suit her fair complexion and icy white locks.

Despite channelling her daughter-in-law through her accessories, the Queen stayed true to her own style with her dress.

The green ensemble worn today is part of her royal uniform as she owns several other versions of the subtly embroidered garment designed by Fiona Clare.

Debuted by the royal for the Big Jubilee Lunch at The Oval in June 2022, the vibrant green hue is the perfect summer shade for the 75-year-old.

Balanced out by structured shoulders, thick long sleeves and deep pleats in the skirt, the outfit was perfectly complemented by the Queen’s brown sunglasses and nude shoes.

The low kitten heel is a thinner style than Camilla normally wears, and features a slight golden tint when caught by the light.
