Queen Elizabeth posed with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Balmoral Castle last summer, where she wore a gorgeous navy blouse and tartan skirt. The photograph was taken by Kate Middleton, and it shows several of the late Queen’s great-grandchildren and grandchildren.

Queen Elizabeth wore a navy blue blouse which she paired with a black cardigan to keep her warm.
She paired the blouse and cardigan with a beautiful tartan skirt, which was very appropriate seeing as the picture was taken in Scotland.
Her Late Majesty accessorised with her favourite pearl necklace and simple pearl earrings, which were statement jewels that the late monarch owned.

Queen Elizabeth can also be seen wearing her diamond engagement ring from Prince Philip in the picture, which is poignant because he had only died the year before this photograph was taken.
The late Duke of Edinburgh contributed significantly to the design of Queen Elizabeth’s engagement ring, which is not surprising given his well-documented passion for style.
Queen Elizabeth’s engagement ring featured a three-carat solitaire and five lesser diamonds.
