Queen Letizia of Spain wears blue wrap dress in Madrid today

Queen Letizia of Spain, 50, attended the Closing Ceremony of Euros of Your Payroll in Madrid today and looked elegant in blue.

The Queen opted to wear her wrap-around dress in light blue from the Spanish label Adolfo Domínguez.

Letizia has only worn this dress once before, and it was in September 2021 for the National Culture Awards at the Prado Museum.

Unfortunately, the garment is no longer in stock. The gown’s description previously said: “Imagine opening your wardrobe in the morning and finding a look that makes you feel great.

“Like this dress, one of those garments to wear in a loop because they are easy, combinable and very flattering. Add flat sandals or heels depending on the occasion.”

How did Queen Letizia accessorise?

The Queen of Spain opted to wear her Pepe Alba “Day and Night” earrings which cost £195 in British Sterling.

Their description reads: “Gold rectangle earrings, square baroque cultured pearls and faceted prehnites. An earring to give colour and strength to day or night. Designed by Luna Alba.”

Letizia previously wore these 18-carat sterling gold, baroque and prehnite pearls at the Miguel de Cervantes Prize festivities in April earlier this year.

As well as her beautiful earrings, Queen Letizia carried her Furla “Metropolis” white leather shoulder bag today.

This is one of Queen Letizia’s favourite handbags and has been pictured with the accessory frequently since 2018.

Their description states: “The iconic Metropolis bag boasts a timeless design and is perfect to take your essentials from day to night.

“Expertly constructed from leather, this iconic white Metropolis bag features a gold-tone chain shoulder strap, a foldover top with a signature clasp closure, a main internal compartment, an internal slip pocket and an internal logo plaque.”

Originally worth £350, this white leather handbag is now retailing for £326 on Farfetch.

What shoes did Queen Letizia wear?

For footwear, Queen Letizia wore her Magrit “Lissette” leather and suede pumps in teal which she has owned since 2019.

They are described as “pointed-toe pumps made of teal leather with a contrasting teal suede band”. The shoes have an eight-centimetre heel, plus make “an elegant and sophisticated model for day to day”.
