High street shoppers will find a dress that’s perfect for all figures in the popular fashion store, River Island.
The £35 garment ticks all the boxes for those looking to smarten up their wardrobe without drawing attention to their body woes, such as a bloated tummy.
Fans of the clothing brand are snapping up the Ruched Bodycon Midi Dress to reap the benefits of its “slimming” effect.
Made with 100 percent cotton, the sleeveless dress features ruched detailing down the front seam from the v-neck to the mid-hemline.
It’s this smart detail that’s thought to make the silhouette so slimming, by cinching in the waistline and adding texture to the bodice.
The ankle-grazing dress comes in two colours – grey and black – and is sold in sizes six to 18. What’s more, it can be worn all year round thanks to its simplistic, versatile design.
In the warmer months, it makes for the perfect evening dress worn on its own, but it can also be teamed with a long winter coat for the cold season.
