Zara Tindall is fabulously stylish but just like everyone, she makes the odd fashion faux pas.
Personal stylist, personal shopper and image coach Melissa Lund spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about which look the royal should avoid.
The expert said: “Zara T can look absolutely stunning but equally I sometimes think she goes completely off-piste and chooses outfits that don’t suit her at all.
“I love it when Zara wears tailoring cut close to the body, with a defined waist and shoulders. Clean and elegant lines work best for her.”
Zara is an accomplished British equestrian and has an incredible figure as a result of this, so fitted clothes look fabulous on her.
With blouses, tops and dresses, a lower neckline is “essential”, and with dresses and skirts “around knee length is good for formal occasions”.
However, there are a few things the expert believes Zara should avoid at all costs in order to look her best.
She said: “Puff sleeves should be avoided. When it comes to colour, anything too bright should be avoided as it will wear her.”
Zara has been spotted wearing very bright colours before, for example a yellow and white number at Royal Ascot in 2015.
Two years prior at Goodwood in 2013, the royal donned another vibrant yellow shift dress with black accessories.
As for puffy sleeves, Zara wore a white dress with these for ‘Ladies Day’ at Royal Ascot in 2022.
At the 2020 Moet Marquee Magic Millions Raceday in Australia, she wore a bubblegum pink dress with huge puffy sleeves.
Melissa suggested that the ultimately flattering colour for Zara is blue. For the Coronation of King Charles earlier this year, Zara went for a classic blue coat dress by Laura Green.
For Prince Philip’s memorial service in 2022, she wore a very similar dress in navy.
