Taylor Swift fans have had their eye on the prize for weeks now. The American singer-songwriter is finally bringing her enormous Eras Tour to the UK next year, and tickets are due to be released later this month.

It’s quite a task to get tickets, though, and you can read all about how to get your presale code here.

To ensure as many fans get to see Taylor Swift as possible, the Anti-Hero singer just announced a collection of new tour dates in the UK and Europe.

But, unfortunately for some North Americans, Canada has still been left out of the massive tour.

The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has noticed her absence from the Great White North, and has called her out.

Trudeau, who is extremely active on Twitter around current events, replied to Taylor’s new announcement.

He called her out with a heartfelt plea, saying: “It’s me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you.”

Referencing more of her songs, he added: “So, don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.”

Fans instantly rallied behind the Prime Minister who believed he was fighting for them.

One wrote: “OMG I’m in tears, I really hope this means something but considering that she ghosted the president of chile I’m not getting my hopes up.” (sic)

Another said: “I love this Mr Prime Minister.” (sic)

One fan even joked: “Dear Prime Minister, when could we have the rebate of Taylor Swift’s tickets?”

At the time of writing, Taylor Swift does not have any planned tour dates in Canada, but she is currently touring the length and breadth of the USA.

Next summer Taylor will hit UK shores to play some massive shows, here’s all the information you need to get tickets.
