A new generation of Britons are side hustling their way through the cost of living crisis, a new survey has found.
Rachael Walkingshaw-McGuinness, 31, told Express.co.uk how she works as a direct seller for The 1:1 Diet, making sales while doing everything from sitting in the car waiting for her daughter to finish nursery to waiting for the kettle to boil.
She told Express.co.uk: “My side hustle is completely intertwined with my everyday life. I could be on social media talking to a customer about a new product while waiting for the kettle to boil which could prompt a sale.”
However, traditional services like logo design, writing and translation and video creation are still very much in demand.
