AC/DC celebrate 50th anniversary with golden announcement ahead of 2024 tour | Music | Entertainment

Earlier this month, AC/DC announced their first tour in eight years, just in time for their 50th anniversary.

And now the iconic rockers, whose album Back in Black is the best-selling record by a band in history, have another announcement.

In celebration of their half-century milestone, AC/DC are releasing their entire catalogue pressed on gold-coloured vinyl LPs.

The first nine are set to go on sale from March 15. They are: Back in Black, Highway to Hell, The Razors Edge, Powerage, For Those About To Rock (We Salute You), High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Who Made Who and Live and they can be pre-ordered here.

The announcement noted: “Each of these limited edition LPs comes with an album-specific 12”x12” print featuring new AC/DC 50 artwork, suitable for framing.”

Meanwhile, AC/DC’s Power Up Tour is set to arrive in Europe this summer with two dates in the UK.

The band will be performing in Wembley Stadium on July 3 and 7, 2024 and tickets can be booked here.
