Andrea Bocelli daughter Virginia Bocelli stars in Christmas fairy tale | Music | Entertainment

Andrea Bocelli’s children have been joining their father in duets on stage for the last few years to acclaim from fans. And now Matteo Bocelli, 25, and Virginia Bocelli, 10, have accompanied the 64-year-old maestro on a new album. Alongside the release of A Family Christmas, the talented trio is set to star in a worldwide streamed special.

Andrea, Matteo and Virginia will be the protagonists in the streaming event that is a fairy tale and concert all in one, held between the castle and streets of Gressoney in Northern Italy.

The Bocellis teased: “Set in the heart of an Italian Winter Wonderland at magical Gressoney in Valle d’Aosta, one of the most enchanting mountain towns in the world, the Bocelli family showcase their multigenerational talent in an intimate festive sing-along. The special opens with Virginia’s angelic voice on beloved classic Over The Rainbow.”

The Judy Garland Wizard of Oz classic is performed by the 10-year-old on the album and kicks of her festive fantasy adventure in the special.

Matteo made his Hollywood debut in fantasy movie Three Thousand Years of Longing earlier this year and after seeing this trailer Virginia certainly seems to have what it takes to make hers too. A Bocelli Family Christmas premieres on YouTube on December 4 at 5pm GMT.

The festive special will also be available on TBN from December 16 and YouTube Premium subscribers will also have access to an afterparty featuring exclusive content from A Bocelli Family Christmas.

Andrea, Matteo and Virginia Bocelli’s new album A Family Christmas is out now.
