Hot Mulligan tickets out today – here’s where to get them | Music | Entertainment

American pop-punk icons Hot Mulligan have only just played a few shows in the UK, but they loved it so much they have already planned a second coming.

The band, who just announced their third studio album, Why Would I Watch, will be returning to play venues around the UK in September 2023.

The new record will hit streaming services this month on May 12, and will include further insights into topics that are important to them, like mental health and dealing with strained family relationships.

Hot Mulligan’s singer, Tades Sanville, said: “No one who’s depressed is crying all the time. The media likes to portray deep depression as sadness, but most of the time it’s indifference. That works its way into alternative comedy and s**tposting. The two cultures collide perfectly. The titles are the s**tposts and the songs are what everyone in this position actually feels.”

On the band’s first single from the album, “Shh! Golf is on”, Sanville added: “[It’s] about my mom. I’m asking her to die. Every time I hear about her, she’s a worse person than before.”

Tickets for the band’s UK return come out today – and here’s all the information you need to get involved.
