Nvidia is bringing its Omniverse tech to Apple’s Vision Pro headset, letting developers create in AR/VR. Exciting news from the GTC conference!

Nvidia has announced that it will be bringing its Omniverse enterprise technology to Apple’s Vision Pro AR/VR headset. This exciting news was revealed during Nvidia’s annual GTC conference in San Jose on Monday.

The integration of Nvidia’s Omniverse tools into the Vision Pro will allow developers to create digital twins of objects and locations in an AR/VR setting. This platform enables programmers to visualize and simulate how objects will behave in the real world.

With Omniverse, organizations can design digital replicas of factories and other spaces to better understand how they will function before construction begins. During GTC, Nvidia demonstrated how designers can use the Vision Pro to customize vehicles and virtually experience them.

The implementation of Omniverse Cloud APIs and Graphics Delivery Network will allow users to seamlessly access these tools via the cloud on the Vision Pro headset.

Rev Lebaredian, Nvidia’s vice president of simulation, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Apple Vision Pro is the first untethered device which allows for enterprise customers to realize their work without compromise.”

By making Omniverse technology available on the Vision Pro, both Nvidia and Apple stand to benefit. The high price tag of the Vision Pro may deter consumers, but enterprise customers will find the added value of Omniverse appealing.

It remains to be seen whether this collaboration will translate into increased sales for Apple. However, it has the potential to bolster the Vision Pro’s appeal in the enterprise sector and bolster Apple’s bottom line.
