Al Pacino’s girlfriend has filed for physical custody of their infant son just months after his birth, according to US media reports.
The Oscar-winning star, 83, welcomed son Roman with Noor Alfallah, 29, in June – a few weeks after her pregnancy was confirmed publicly.
According to court documents obtained by several US media outlets, Alfallah has now filed for physical custody but requested that Pacino has “reasonable visitation”.
She has also asked that they have joint legal custody, which would give the Scarface and Godfather star a say on his son’s education, religion and medical treatment, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Despite the court filing, Pacino’s representative told the publication the couple have not split up.
“Al and Noor have successfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child Roman,” the representative is quoted as saying. “They are together.”

As part of the filing, Alfallah reportedly submitted a voluntary declaration of parentage, which she and Pacino signed six days after Roman’s birth. The document acknowledges the actor’s paternity.
The couple are said to have been dating since the COVID pandemic.
Pacino is also father to his 33-year-old daughter, Julie Marie with acting coach Jan Tarrant – and twins Anton and Olivia, 22, with actress Beverly D’Angelo.
Alfallah has worked as a producer on two films currently in post-production, including Billy Knight, starring Pacino, according to her IMDB page.
She is rumoured to have previously dated Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger.
