Hip-hop icon Dr. Dre revealed that he has had three strokes since suffering from a brain aneurysm in 2021.

The seven-time Grammy award-winning artist, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist discussed his health issues in a recent interview on the podcast “This Life of Mine with James Corden,” stating that high blood pressure may have been the cause of the strokes.

He also mentioned that he is focused on maintaining his health and that the experience has made him value life even more.

Dr. Dre will be honored with his own Hollywood star on the Walk of Fame. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday at 6840 Hollywood Boulevard, outside the Jimmy Kimmel Studios. Snoop Dogg will be a guest speaker.

Dre is being recognized for his significant contributions to music and popular culture.

The Compton native began his solo career in 1992 with the release of “The Chronic” album, which achieved triple platinum status by the RIAA, following his earlier success with N.W.A.

Dr. Dre, along with Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent, will be appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” after Eyewitness News at 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
